Creating an original short story for web publication

I would like to thank Sean M. for telling me about Google Docs and Spreadsheets. I had been looking for a way to upload documents to the web and create URLs. Through Google Docs, I am able to create an individual link for any document I would like. Here, for example, is the link to the short story assignment: Short story blog assignment . This is much better than posting a blog entry containing the entire text. I may even have students upload their stories to Google Docs, and then post the links on the blog. We shall soon see.

In January, students will be posting short stories to this site. Once I type up the prompt, I will post it here. I think I will let each group of students pick which template they like best, as there are about 20 to choose from. We may also post class pictures on each respective page.
