Summertime is around the corner
I’m excited for the weather
To go swimming in the pool.
To lay out in the sun
And to have some fun,
Summer is the best
I don’t get rest
It’s so great
Nice and
Hot.

I love this poem. Its great. I love the summer and i love how you wrote about it. When i read this poem i could picture pools and going tanning. I totally agree with you when you say "Summer is the best" This poem put me in a good mood because it was talking about summer but then i realized its not summer for another like two months and were still in school so it made me sad. But this is a great poem . Love ya byee
This poem was very good. After reading the poem I envisioned some kid that is getting reeady and thinking about all the good stuff you can do over the summer. THis poem contained a little bit of everything. It had some nice rhyme in there that I really enjoyed and some good imagery. I felt warm and happy after reading this poem, because just like the person thinking about summer in the poem, you get asense of wanting summer to come quick to after reading this poem. This poem reminds me of another poem titled Summer that I came across when looking for good poems for my anthology. It alos talked about all the great things summer has to offer and yours was very similar to that. Good Poem

I totally love this poem because i totally love love love summer! After reading it i just pictured laying out on the beach all day in summertime. It put me in a good mood because summer is just so close and i just cannot wait! It reminded me of a poem i wrote because its about summer too!
